摘要

天主教自明末清初再次傳入中國，至今已四百餘年，才將成書於十三世紀末，聖多瑪斯的曠世巨著《神學大全》，翻譯成中文，此舉不能不說是一件劃時代的大事。此書既名為「神學」大全，其意即為「探討神的學問」，主要的重點思維置於教會的基本信仰的範疇。「聖事」是教會基本信仰生活的依據與寄託，因此，聖多瑪斯在這一部份著墨甚多。這不只是全書中非常精彩的一部份，同時也是影響後世的「聖事論」研究發展上最重要的範本與參考。

More than 400 years after Catholicism was initially introduced into China by the turn of the Ming and the Qing Dynasties, now the masterpiece by Thomas Aquinas from the thirteenth century is finally translated in to Chinese, which is nothing less than an epochal event. Titled as ”Summa Theologica,” this work is ”an inquiry of the knowledge about God,” focusing on the fundamental faith of the church. The ”sacraments” are the cornerstone and attachment of the fundamental life of faith in the church, and Aquinas addresses this topic in depth. This is not only an excellent part of Summa Theologica but also an important exemplar and source for the future generations in their research and development of ”Treatise on the Sacraments.”
