天主教社會哲學的形上基礎及其本地化

Catholic Social Doctrine's Metaphysical Foundation and its Indigenization in Chinese Context

摘要


本文將以天主教社會哲學在華的本地化為主要關心點。首先,將探討人與社會與終極真實的關係,作為天主教社會訓導的形上基礎,有了形上基礎,天主教的社會訓導便自成一社會哲學傳統;其中涉及天主教頒布的《教會社會訓導彙編》首章開宗明義所言的「奧秘」,在此論及其形上基礎。本文將討論《教會社會訓導彙編》首章所言,從無條件的慷慨到相互盟約(相互性)成立的過程,並簡述從形上學到社會倫理的哲學架構。進而,吾人將討論本地化的實現條件,尤其要發揮天主的愛作為地方化的基礎動力,及其與儒家的仁、道家的慈、佛家的慈悲的相互交涉,藉以顯示天主的愛實現在本地的社會脈絡中之要旨。最後,本文將對全文的要義做一總結,指出如何依據天主的愛以為根本動力,遵行愛天主愛人的誡命,開顯為具體的社會政策。

This paper will focus on the indigenization of Catholic social doctrine in the Chinese cultural context. First of all, we will deal with the relationships between individual, society, and ultimate reality, so as to make clear the metaphysical foundation of its social doctrine. Here we have the concept of 'mystery' as shown in the Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Churchas characterizing God's original generosity. Then we will discuss the process from unconditional generosity to the establishment of contractual reciprocity, quite well developped in that document, and establish thereby the philosophical outline from metaphysics to social ethics. After this, we will discuss the conditions of actualization of its indigenization, taking God's love as its ultimate motivation power, and its relations with Confucian ren (humaneness), Daoist mercy and Buddhist compassion, in order to reveal how God's love realizes itself in the concrete local cultural context. Finally, we will conclude in discussing how to concretize Jesus' demand of loving God and people into various social policies.
