Zhang Zai's(張載) thought of "Mind over Feeling"(心統性情) played an important role in the development of Chu Hsi's thought of "Qing(情)", and developed Chu Hsi's ethical thought of mind, including the core concepts of Xin(心), Xing(性) and Qing, Chu Hsi's thought of "Qing" is an important part of the ethical thought of "Being Human", which creates a kind of "be-man" knowledge. Chu Hsi's "Qing" thought not only be regarded as a part of his "Xing" thought, but also represents another ethical connotation of Chu Hsi. Its ultimate goal is to form an ideal ethical model of "the unity of man and nature(天人合一)".
