Research of Rural Settlement in Germany: An Introduction
摘要
本文主要說明德國鄉村聚落學的發展歴程及現况。首先介紹該學科體系的行成和發展，其次籍形態、機能等不同研究法的闡述，分別指出其盛行時期，研究主題及其重要的研究成果。最後，並簡述德國鄕聚落學未來發展的趨向。

The purpose of this article is to introduce historical development and present situation of rural settlement research in Germany It begins with an account of the establishment of this particular discipline. By describing research methods such as morphogenetic and functional analysis, it then points out respectively their prime period, central theme of the research and the important results. Finally, it gives a brief report on the future trends of rural settlement research in Germany.
