FRP棒應用於土木工程之耐久性實驗與探討

A Study on the Durability of FRP Bars Used in Civil Engineering Applications

摘要


本文探討碳纖維高分子複合材料(Fiber Reinforced Plastics, FRP)所製成的碳纖維棒與玻璃纖維棒之耐久性能,實驗項目包含耐化性試驗(耐酸、鹼、硫酸鹽試驗)、溫濕度循環與紫外線照射試驗等,並以試驗後極限拉力的折減趨勢作爲耐久性能之依據。試驗結果顯示,碳纖維棒有良好的耐久性,而玻璃纖維棒的耐久性則不如碳纖維棒。研究所得之耐久性折減係數,可做爲工程師在選用FRP棒進行設計時之參考。

Accelerated aging tests on the durability performances of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) bars and glass fiber reinforced plastics (GFRP) bars were conducted under different conditions, including acid, alkaline, and sulfate environments with UV light irradiation at various temperatures and humidity. The results showed that the CFRP bars exhibited excellent durability performances, but the GFRP bars were not as good as the CFRP ones in terms of durability performance. The reduction factors of durability performance derived from this work may be applied to the design of civil engineering structures that employ FRP bars.
