環保高效能塗膜鍍鋅鋼片開發

Development of Eco-friendly Functional Coated Hot-dip Galvanized Steel

摘要


因應歐盟RoHS、REACH管制六價鉻、N-甲基吡咯烷酮(NMP)等有害物質,本研究設計無添加鉻原料、NMP溶劑的水性塗料及探討其塗膜等特性,其間通過第三方公證單位認證。其次,針對機殼、金屬家具等作業環境,研究採用無鉻腐蝕抑制物搭配不同玻璃轉化點(Tg:50~100℃)的水性樹脂所配之環保塗料,探討塗裝於熱浸鍍鋅鋼片後的耐蝕性、耐鹼洗脫脂、深衝壓加工、烤漆密著等應用特性。結果歸納:(1)輝光放電及電子掃描顯微確認鹼洗脫脂後的新塗膜組成維持正常,極化曲線及鹽水噴霧測試證實鹼洗脫脂後塗膜耐蝕性優於現行市售產品;(2)藉衝壓及深衝成形試驗搭配鹽水噴霧測試驗證採用低Tg樹脂所配製之B塗膜樣品因具較佳的延展性,可提高加工效率;以及(3)上述塗膜於省略磷化處理的烤漆塗裝過程,藉設計塗膜官能基與烤漆交聯作用,確保烤漆百格密著測試正常,有助客戶減少製程、廢液處理,替環境保育貢獻心力。

In response to the control of hexavalent chromium, N-methylpyrrolidone (NMP) and other harmful substances in the EU RoHS and REACH regulations, this study designed a water-based coating without any hazard substance and discussed its characteristics, which were certified by a third-party notary. On the other hand, for metal cases and furniture applications, the eco-friendly coatings made of chrome-free corrosion inhibitors and water-based resins with different glass transition temperature (Tg: 50 ~ 100 °C) were studied to investigate application characteristics, e.g., corrosion resistance, alkaline resistance, various forming, and painting ability. The results are summarized: (1) glow discharge spectrum and electron microscopy confirmed that the composition of the new coating film after alkaline treatment unchanged, and the polarization curve and salt spray test also confirmed that the corrosion resistance of the new coating after alkaline treatment was better than that of the current product. (2) Forming test and salt spray test confirmed that the B coated sample with low Tg resin has better ductility and can improve processing efficiency. (3) The above-mentioned coating still maintains the adhesion during the painting process without phosphating treatment, which will help customers to reduce the process and waste treatment, and contribute to environmental conservation.
