資訊科技對大學總圖書館空間影響調查研究（2）－「讀者空間」使用現況影響之調查研究分析

摘要

大學圖書館受到資訊科技之影響，近年來積極推行電子化資訊服務。除在內部增設各種資訊相關空間外，學生獲取資訊之使用方式亦有所改變。本研究選擇國內9所中大型大學圖書館以實地紀測方式調查空間使用，並以其中3所學校學生進行問卷調查。針對（1）圖書館設置資訊科技相關空間之配置，及其對圖書館整體空間使用彈性及擴展性之影響，（2）學生來圖書館之使用活動、頻率與使用空間之時間、順位關係，及（3）網路資訊對學生使用圖書館空間之影響等調查分析。可作為今後圖書館興建改建計劃參考，亦可為後續之圖書館空間使用調查之對照資料。

This study is to investigate the actual use situation in the reader’ area under the influence of information Technology, including: (1) the flexibility and extendibility of the space, (2) the space-use pattern by university students. 9 of Taiwan’s major university libraries were selected. Methods of study include on-site investigation and interviews, questionnaires for librarians and students. Findings arc: (1) the flexibility and extendibility of space are constrained by the use of IT because it’s requirement of cabling and air-conditioning. New methods of zoning the reader’s area needed to be considered in future planning in order to achieve a economical flexible pace: (2) students’ space-use pattern is changing in different areas under the influence of internet: (3) further study is necessary to monitor the increasing influence of internet.
