We presented a 67 year-old diabetic woman with right side ureteral stone and urosepsis. She had ever received nephrectomy on the left side kidney due to xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis. The urine and blood culture reported Salmonella species. A 7×5 cm2 intra-abdominal abscess was noted. Systemic antibiotics, enucleation of intra-abdominal abscess and uretrerolithotomy were done. She was discharged 2 weeks later in stable condition.
