Integrating Fuzzy Logic into Quality Function Deployment for Product Positioning

Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a systematic thinking process for product planning that enables businesses to consider the characteristics of product to ensure that products satisfy customer requirements. QFD utilizes the house of quality (HOQ) as a method of understanding customer requirements, establishing the priorities of design requirements, and product segmentation and positioning. This study integrates frizzy logic into HOQ to establish a framework for prioritizing customer requirements to simply, objectively, and scientifically analyze product features and conduct product positioning.
