This study examines whether senior high school students have the global citizenship awareness to prepare for their future learning. The goal is to propose specific methods to enhance high school students' global citizenship awareness. The study also explores school factors associated with their global citizenship awareness. The data for this study includes 4,899 senior high school students in Taiwan who participated in the International Student Assessment (PISA) 2018. The purpose is to explore the relationship between students' global citizenship education at school, media and information literacy education at school, and their global citizenship awareness. The analysis was conducted using stepwise multiple regression. The conclusions found out a significant and positive relationship between students' global citizenship education in school, media and information literacy education at school, and their global citizenship awareness among senior high school students in Taiwan. In other words, students who receive more comprehensive global citizenship education at school and media and information literacy education at school tend to have a higher level of global citizenship awareness. Based on the conclusions and discussion of this study, some specific suggestions are provided.
