從交通旅次資料看都會區空間結構-台中都會區實例分析

An Explanation of Spatial Structure from Trip Distribution Data-Case Study of Taichung Metropolitan Area

摘要


由於都會區的空間組織型態和都會區的交通旅次分布具有一體兩面之關係,本研究嘗試以實證方式,應用「熵」作為指標,分析台中都會區的空間組織型態。從研究結果中發現,台中都會區缺乏顯著的中心性趨勢,且各組成分區間之關聯程度也不強。再者,依據交通旅次空間分布型態為基準,實際台中都會區的範圍應較現行的劃設區域為小。

The spatial pattern of trip distrbution in a metropolitan area can be used at a device to describe the spatial organization of the metropolitan area. In this study, Taichung Metropolitan Area is selected as the studying area and entropy is used as an aggregate indicator of the spatial pattern of trip distribution. Based upon the results, it shows that Taichung Metropolitan Area lacks strong central tendency and association among its sub-districts. In addition, it also indicates that the real Metropolitan Area should be smaller than what currently consists of.
