稻田轉作玉米缺鎂防治試驗

Soil Amendment for Magnesium Deficiency of Corn in Converted Paddy Field

摘要


花蓮地區稻田轉作種植玉米時常發生缺鎂現象,導致光合作用受抑制,生育及產量均受影響。為探討花蓮地區稻田轉作之玉米缺鎂防治對策,本試驗利用台農351號玉米,施以不同鎂資材,探討其效果。試驗結果,未施用改良劑之處理,玉米在生育初期即開始呈現缺鎂症狀,葉片上產生黃色條紋,爾後逐漸轉劇,至成熟期達到高峰,嚴重者葉片開始萎凋,其缺鎂症狀及玉米子實收量均比施用改良劑之處理明顯且低,施用硫酸鎂、白雲石粉、蛇紋石粉皆有矯正缺鎂症及增產效果,其中以硫酸鎂500公斤/公頃之處理,效果最佳,在缺鎂嚴重地區(光復)可增產32.8∼52.2%,在缺鎂較輕微之其他地區則增產19∼27%。

Magensium deficiency of high yielding corn Tainung No.351 is a very common phenomenon of soil micro-element deficiency in converted paddy field of Hualien area. Magnesium deficiency not only inhibits photosynthesis but also diminishs growth and yield potential of corn. The purpose of this experiment is to determine the best soil amendment method for comecting the corn magnesium dificiency and to improve corn yields in converted paddy field. Five treatments with MgSo_4 250 kg/ha. MgSo_4 500 kg/ha, Serpentine powder, Dolmite powder, foliar spray of MgSo_4 and check (no soil amedent) were included in the experiments. The results showed that the application of MgSo_4, serpentine powder and Dolomite powder corrected the magnesium deficiency differently and the growth of corn was improved. Application 500 kg/ha of MgSo_4, was found to be the best soil amendment for corn magnesium dificiency which increased yields from 32.8-52.2% and 19-27% in severe and slight dificient soils, respectively.
