混合育苗介質對無子西瓜幼苗生長影響之研究

摘要


育成優良健壯的幼苗,是無子西瓜栽培上重要的第一步,而育苗介質良窳,則直接影響幼苗生長之表現。本文係鳳山一號三倍體無子西瓜以三種混合介質作育苗試驗比較之結果,介質之容積比重、孔度、保水率、酸鹼值等均經測定比較;無子西瓜種子經過催芽後播種於三種介質中,分別調查出土成活率、株高、胚莖粗、展開葉數、乾重、水份含量等以比較介質之優劣。試驗結果顯示質輕、通氣性良好且保水力佳的介質較為優良。

The viability of seedless (triploid) watermelon seeds is very weak since genetic abnormality. So how to raise strong and healthy seedlings were becoming more important. Three kinds of mixed media, which consist of sand, coconut fiber and vermiculite, were used to nurse seedless watermelon seedling. The physical properties of those media, including bulk density, porosity, water holding capacity, and pH value, were discusesed in this paper. The ligther media with large aeration space and higher water holding capacity are much benefit for the growth of seedless watermelon.
