Evaluation of a Computerized External Beam Radiotherapy
評估體外放射線治療電腦計畫系統
摘要
治療計畫為放射線治療中極重要的一環。為了提高放射線劑量分佈的準確性，電腦化治療計畫系統於是被發展出來迎合此項要求。榮民總醫院癌病治療中心於民國68年9月安裝了萬能牌RO7電腦化治療計畫系統，在經過一系列的操作與驗證的評估工作，確定此套系統在基本原測試和實際運作兩方面都合乎要求標準，然後展開了每日臨床的服務。

The treatment planning is an essential part of radiotherapy. In order to increase the accuracy of dose distribution, the computerized treatment planning system is developed to meet the requirement. The Cancer Therapy Center of Veterans General Hospital installed the Varian R07 computerized treatment planning system on September 1979. Since then, a series of works and tests have been done to evaluate this system. After those preliminary and practical tests were checked acceptably, it begins the daily clinical service.
