Polyester knitted shoes came out in 2008, using one-piece knitting technology with the characteristics of polyester fiber, which is light, breathable and covering, and has become the current trend. However, the problem of phenol yellowing of polyester has not been solved and many losses have been caused. In this study, the factors that may affect the yellowing of polyester phenol are reduced to dyes, chemical auxiliaries and the pH value of the dye bath. The fluorescent brightening dyes are used to add dispersing agents, leveling agents, softeners and hydrosulfite. The pH value of the dye bath is dyed, and the color fastness to phenol yellowing of each combination is obtained through the phenol yellowing international standard ISO 105-X18:2007 inspection method. According to the experimental results, fluorescent whitening dyes are highly dependent on pH. The overall dye auxiliaries have the best color fastness to phenol yellow at pH 5.0, and the color fastness to acid or weak acid phenol yellow will decrease. In addition, adding dispersant and hydrosulfite can effectively improve the fastness to phenol yellow.
