摘要

DRM系統並不只有數位內容保護而已，版權管理(Rights Management)是更重要的課題，也是較有彈性的部份，未來數位版權管理勢必成爲DRM的新機會。我們所開發的數位視訊內容服務版權使用管理平臺，目前已能針對Rights Model産生對應的License並將之傳送至客房端搭配Smart Card的PKI達到限制使用權利的應用。

Digital Rights Management (DRM) not only focuses on content protection but also includes Right Management, which is more flexible in file downloading and usage. The burgeoning Right Management is anticipated to create new market opportunities for DRM. Right Management is also applied to business where content is not the primary source of revenue as many businesses have shifted information to be an accompaniment to core products and services. Our DRM License Control System enables users to download the license for digital content base on MPEG 21 REL according to the Right Model defined by the service providers. With this license, the operators could constrain the users’ usage on the content through the DRM player and the smart card control.
