無線感測網路資料管理平台

無線感測網路(Wireless Sensor Network; WSN)是最近幾年來相當熱門的技術，無論在硬體設計、製造或是通訊協定等領域都頗有進展。然而在實際應用WSN系統時，卻仍有許多問題困擾著開發者。開發者除了現場WSN系統架設的困難需要克服外，如何儲存感測器獲得的資料，並且讓使用者可以隨時便利地在任何地方透過網路存取這些資料，亦是一道難題。本文提出一個無線感測網路的資料管理平台，提供泛用型WSN閘道器及WSN資料中心服務，讓感測資料從進入WSN閘道器開始，直到使用者介面為止，都有完整的解決方案。此方案的特點為：(1)減少系統開發商的成本與時程、(2)使用便利可增加用戶群、(3)具有隨插即用的可擴充性。此方案的最終目的是讓整個WSN網路服務具有商業化運轉的契機。

The Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) technology develops rapidly in recent years. All of the hardware design, manufacture, and protocols of WSN have remarkable advances. Nevertheless, there are still many problems bothering system developers while using WSN systems in practice. Besides the difficulties of setting up a WSN system, how to store the data of sensors, and to provide a convenient method for users to access these data anytime and anywhere through the internet, are tough problems as well. In this article, we propose a WSN data management platform, which provides WSN universal gateways and the WSN data center service. From the beginning of sensor data into WSN gateways to the final user interface, the platform provides a complete solution. The features of this solution are: (1) reducing the cost and time of system developers; (2) convenient usage leading to an expansion of user community; (3) having the extensibility of plug and play. The ultimate goal of this solution is to build a business model of WSN web service.
