摘要

能隨時隨地即時的觀賞電視節目，在現今各種通訊、商務、及娛樂用途的手持式電子設備日漸普及的情況下，成為了下一個需要滿足的需求。這讓許多公司及研究機構開始思考，如何讓手持式電子設備能夠觀賞電視節目，這其中伴隨了龐大的商機，但也有不少技術及市場的難題要克服。在這樣的情形下，許多國際標準組織紛紛推出了關於行動電視的訊號傳輸規格，如DVB-H、OMA、MBMS-3GPP等等。其中由DVB(Digital Video Broadcasting)組織推出的DVB-H因為繼承了DVB-T的雄厚基礎，受到許多國家和地區的採用，在目前行動電視傳輸規格中佔有領先的地位。本文將描述IPDC Tuner之系統設計以符合DVB-H/CBMS之需求。

To experience various multimedia services anytime anywhere with user's preference via wire or wireless connection is an inevitable need in this digital life. Many companies and research organizations have started to develop related technologies for receiving multimedia services. Standard organizations such as DVB, OMA, 3GPP are also defining global specifications for multimedia services. CBMS specifications following DVB-H defined by DVB is suitable for Mobile TV and IPDC services. In this paper, overall CBMS system architecture is introduced, and the design of a key component IPDC Tuner in a CBMS receiver is also described.
