An Automatic Binding Mechanism for ZigBee Sensors and Actuators

摘要


連結(binding)為感測網路中感測器與致動器之間的聯繫關係。目前的手動、及半自動的連結建立方式,在感測器或致動器數量龐大時將會使用不便,而一般的系統預設(hard-coded)自動連結則顯得彈性不足。本文提出一個自動連結機制,設計一感測事件暨致動動作的建模方法,並搭配合適的連結規則,以自動地產生合理的連結規格。本文的實作整合了數種ZigBee標準感測器、致動器,以及基於web的使用者介面,完成舒適、保全、及安全三項家庭常見應用。

In sensor networks, a binding is an association between a sensor and an actuator. Both manual binding and semi-automatic binding mechanisms are inconvenience for a large number of sensors and actuators, and hard-coded automatic binding mechanism is not flexible enough. In this paper, we propose an automatic binding mechanism, which specifies a modeling method for sensing events and actuating actions, and with appropriate binding-rules, generates reasonable binding specifications automatically. Our implementation integrates several standard ZigBee sensors, actuators, and a web-based user interface. The implementation also achieves household applications including comfortableness, security, and safety.
