塑膠基板鍍膜與製程簡介

Introduction to Plastic Coatings and Its Fabrication Process

摘要


塑膠基板鍍膜元件具有質量輕和耐衝擊的特點,因此這類元件廣泛應用於汽車、交通工具、建築物和平面顯示器與可撓性相關光電產品,然而塑膠基板容易發生吸水吸氣等問題,此外,塑膠材料質軟容易變形或刮傷,而且具表面附著性不佳,因此製作塑膠鍍膜元件時必須鍍製阻絕層薄膜,以提升元件的機械性質和穩定性,因此本文主旨在於介紹塑膠鍍膜元件的阻絕層製作、表面改質、低溫雷射退火製程和機械特性分析等,在了解塑膠鍍膜的基本特性、材料性質提昇和製程之關係以求獲得最佳塑膠鍍膜元件特性。

There is an interest to replace glass with polymeric materials in many applications, such as automobile, transportation, architectures and flexible optoelectronics due to its lightweight and enhanced impact resistance. The main limitation of plastic-based components is the softness of their surface, which corresponds to low abrasion resistance and weak adhesion between the films and the plastic substrate. Protecting hard coating and surface modification should be carried out prior to deposit functional coating on the plastic surface to increase its durability. In this paper, a barrier layer coating, surface modification, novel low-temperature leaser annealing technique and characterization of mechanical properties are discussed in order to obtain a high-quality plastic coating components.
