Malignant Mixed Mullerian Tumor of the Cervix: A Case Report and Literature Review

Malignant mixed mullerian tumors (MMMTs) of the uterine cervix are much less common than in the uterine corpus. We present a patient with MMMT of the uterine cervix who died one month after completing postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy. Although the literature suggests that MMMTs of the uterine cervix may have a better outcome than their counterparts in the corpus, the prognosis may also relate to different carcinomatous or sarcomatous components. Further investigation is needed to clarify the prognosis in this disease.
