Rhinosinusitis is a common disease in the clinical practice. The lack of consensus on the definition and diagnostic criteria of rhinosinusitis in the previous time led to the paucity of correlative studies and consequent shortage of epidemiological data about it with substantial bias. The situation is now different since there are emerging universal agreement on these issues. Here we provide updating information pertaining to the epidemiology of rhinosinusitis.
