The purpose of this study was combined ADDIE model and the story face instruction strategy to develop multimedia picture books to improve reading comprehension for elementary students with mild mental retardation. This study use case study method to probe the effect of teaching materials and student's attitude with test and questionnaires. Furthermore, it was also used the ways of interview and observation in class as interpretation of results. The results showed that students with mild mental retardation enhanced their reading comprehension and positive attitude as well.
