An analysis of the post-operative courses and results of Scheie's procedure on 19 cases 22 eyes of primary glaucoma is presented. Post-operatively, intraocular pressure was well controlled in 19 eyes (86.36%) but failed in 3 eyes (13.64%). Therefore, in case filtering operation is indicated this modified Scheie's procedure is a safe and effective method, easily to be carried out even in the area where facilities are limited.
