神經母細胞瘤之二例

Two Cases of Neuroblastoma

並列摘要

Neuroblastoma occurs primarily in the suprarenal medulla and in the retroperitoneal ganglia. This tumor affects infants and young children almost exclusively. The tumor is very malignant and metastasizes freely especially through the blood stream. Bone metastasis are frequent and they manifest themselves particularly in the craninum. Clinically, it may be classified into two types: Pepper type and Hutchinson type. Two cases of neuroblastoma (Hutchinson type) are presented in this paper. Both are Chinese boys of age 7 and 12 yrs. Both cases complained of ecchymosis, exophthalmos and lymphnodes swelling. The diagnosis were proved by lymph-node biopsies and bone marrow punctures.
