We made stereoacuity determinations (using Titmus Stereotest) on 55 Chinese children, age of from 3 to 11 years, who had normal binocular single vision examined by other tests. The data showed a gradual improvement in stereo-acuity scores with increasing of age. The stereo-acuity of 40 seconds was obtained in none of 3 yr-old group; l0%-4 yrs; 60%-5yrs; 70%-6 & 7 yrs; and 90%-8 yrs or over. The stereo acuity of 60 seconds or better obtained in 6% of 3 year-old group; 40%-4 yrs; 60%-5 yrs; and 100% 6 yrs or over.
