應用雷射對青光眼的治療 第一報 氬氣雷射虹彩穿孔術
Laser Therapy of Glaucoma (Ⅰ) Argon Laser Iridotomy
摘要
本實驗對31名32眼青光眼病人進行氬氣雷射虹彩穿孔術提出報告。著者以50μ大小，約800 mw強度，0.05到0.1秒的雷射，順利獲得虹彩穿孔。可認為是安全、簡便的治療方法。本文報告其穿孔技術的經驗，包括施行穿孔術時的種種注意事項，及最常見的穿孔後再閉鎖以及其他應考慮的併發症，同時對其他研究者的經驗比較，提出討論。

Continuous wave argon laser iridotomy was successfully performed on 32 eyes in densely pigmented brown iris of Chinese with follow up period of more than one year. The conclusions are as followings: 1. Argon laser can produce an iridotomy in Oriental safely with minor complications such as corneal burns not greater than the Caucasian so far reported. The procedure has certain advantages over surgical iridectomy in the treatment of pupillary block glaucomas. 2. The author processed the iridotomy in two different setting of laser. For stretch and perforation procedure, it was set at 50μ with about 800 mw and 0.1 second, while for expanding procedure, shorter exposure times was applied. Abraham contact lens is highly encouraging in this procedure 3. Further evaluation of such laser iridotomy for treatment of angle-closure glaucoma in the future is discussed.
