氬氣雷射治療網膜剝離
Argon Laser Photocoagulation for Retinal Detachment
摘要
從民國72年6月到73年4月，彰化基督教醫院用氬氣雷射治療了13人1眼的網膜剝離病例，所有接受雷射治療的病例事先都經過挑選。結果有14眼顯示黏速情況良好，裂孔都已封閉，有2眼失敗，須再加上鞏膜加壓術使網膜復位，有1眼變壞，發生黃斑皺縮(macular pucker)。成功率為82%。作者認為，如果能謹慎的選擇病例，使用雷射光凝周治療網膜剝離，是一種值得嚐試的方法。

Between July 1983 and April 1984, seventeen retinal detachments of thirteen patients were operated upon with argon laser photocoagulator at Changhua Christian Hospital. All the cases were well picked out. The results were as follows: success in 14 eyes with retinal well re-attached and breaks well sealed off; failure in 2 eyes which were subsequently cured with scleral buckle; and a worsening in 1 eye with macular pucker development. The success rate was about 82%. The author recognized that under careful choice of cases, laser photocoagulation can be a good method to treat retinal detachment.
