氬氣雷射治療視網膜靜脈分枝栓塞症之結果

Argon Laser Photocoagulation for Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion

摘要


榮民總醫院眼科視網膜門診,自民國66年4月開始,以氬氣雷射治療視網膜靜脈分枝栓塞症。治療後繼續追踪6個月以上者,計得47例。除記錄視力之變化以外,並以螢光眼底血管攝影觀察黃斑部,阻塞之血管及新生血管叢,治療前後之變化。治療結果,視力惡化者只佔6.5%,不變者36.1%,改善者達57.4%。有新生血管叢者,經治療後,其新生血管即消失或降低活性,有三例在治療後仍發生玻璃體出血。作者認為氬氣雷射光凝固療法,對於視網膜靜脈分枝阻塞症患者視力之保持或增進,以及預防玻璃體出血之發生,是相當有效的,在本報告中,無一例發生治療後的合併症。

Using the Coherent model 800 Argon Laser Photocoagulator, the authors have treated branch retinal vein occlusion since Apr. 1977. The result on 47 cases who underwent complete treatment and were able to be followed for more than 6 months after the treatment are reported. The visual results revealed that only 6.5% were worsened, 36.1% remained unchanged and 57.4% of patients got improved vision after treatment. The neovascular tufts which appeared in 22 cases were either completely abolished or showed shrinkage after treatment. However, 3 cases had vitreous hemorrhage in spite of treatment. The authors suggest that the argon laser photocoagulation is effective in maintaining or improving the vision and preventing the vitreous hemorrhage for the patient with retinal branch vein occlusion.
