近年榮總青光眼患者之分析

Analysis of Recent Three Year Glaucoma Patients in Veterans General Hospital

摘要

西洋人之青光眼大部份為隅角開放性青光眼，尤以黑人為然。然而，中國人之隅角閉鎖性青光眼所佔比例甚高。本文統計榮民總醫院青光眼特別門診患者，自1983年7月1日至1986年6月30日，三年間共1107例，男性818例(74%)，女性289例(26%)。其中隅角閉鎖性青光眼538例(48.6%)，隅角閉放性青光眼297例(26.8%)，先天性青光眼7例(4.2%)，續發性青光眼221例(20%)，其它4例(0.4%)。隅角閉鎖性青光眼為隅角開放性青光眼之1.81倍，此與白人或黑人之青光眼分佈大大不同。

Retrospective analysis of glaucoma special charts of Glaucoma Clinic in Veterans General Hospital between July, 1983 and June, 1986. There were 1107 cases diagnosed as glaucoma. Male: 818 cases (74%), Female: 289 cases (26%), Age: 5 months to 86 years.
In this series, the primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) had 297 cases (26.8%), primary angle-closure glaucoma (PACG): 538 cases (48.6%), congenital glaucoma: 47 cases (4.2%), secondary glaucoma: 221 cases (20.0%), the others 4 cases (0.4%).
The PACG/POAG ratio was 1.81. PACG is more common than POAG in Chinese, which similar to reports from Japan and Southeast Asia, and quite different from blacks and whites.
