摘要

Carteolol hydrochloride是一種β-類交感神經阻斷劑，我們選用十位原發性隅角開放性青光眼患者，及十位高眼壓症患者分別給予1%、2% Carteolol和0.25% Timolol眼藥一滴於其中一眼之下結膜囊，一小時眼壓即明顯下降，二至三小時陣至最低，降壓作用至少可持續八小時。1%與2% Carteolol之降壓效果約略相同，而0.25% Timolol之降壓效果較差。對側眼之眼壓在1%及2% Carteolol都有輕微下降。1%、2% Carteolol及0.25% Timolol對脈搏都有明顯的減緩作用。在血壓方面三種眼藥對收縮壓都有明顯的降低，而舒張壓則沒有顯著的改變。至於對瞳孔大小，三種眼集都沒有顯著的影響。
