摘要

某些複雜性視網膜剝離，因為增殖性玻璃體視網膜病變或增殖性血管病變引起視網膜收縮，變短，或因外傷引起網膜嵌入鞏膜(incarceration)。導致一般視網膜復位手術(reattachment)的失敗。鬆弛性視網膜切開術或切除術，可提高網膜復位的成功率。我們收集9例接受過一種以上手術的複雜性視網膜剝離病例，施行鬆弛性視網膜切開術及切除術，其中6例網膜復位成功（有1例需作第二次手術），3例失敗。視力穩定或進步者6例，退步者3例。平均追蹤期間為3.2個月。

Relaxing retinotomy and retinectomy are helpful surgical techniques in the treatment of severe retinal detachment caused by PVR, PDR and incarcerated retina.
It should be considered after failure of reattachment of retina by other manipulations, such as removal of epiretinal membrane, intraocular temponade & adequate scleral encircling.
We reported 9 complicated RD who received relaxing retinotomies and retinectomies during May '88 to Oct '88. The retina was reattached in 6 of 9 eyes at the follow up period. Visual acuity was stationaly or slight improved in these 6 eyes. Relaxing retinotomy and retinectomy seem to allow reattachment of retina in some ”inoperable” cases.
