Postoperative Complications Following Pterygium Excision

摘要

翼狀贅片切除術是眼科常見的手術。手術本身雖然簡單，但術後併發症也不算少。作者收集十五年間遇過的病例，歸成18類：復發、瞼球粘連、Descemet層膨出，角膜潰瘍、結膜囊腫、鞏膜膿瘍、結膜肉芽組織、鞏膜潰瘍、虹膜炎，葡萄膜組織脫突、葡萄腫，濾過泡形成、績發性青光眼、併發性白內障，滲出液視網膜剝離，眼內炎，眼窩峰窩織炎、裸露鞏膜症候群。引起併發症之因素包括：過度切除鞏膜或上鞏膜組織、不當的電燒、β射線或抗癌藥劑量不適當、常期使用類同醇眼藥水、縫線反應、糖尿病、添加外傷、結締組織疾病。

Excision of pterygium is a common ophthalmic operation in our country. The operation is relatively simple, but the postoperative complcations are not rare. These complications collected over 15 years by the authors included: recurrence; symblepharon; Descemetocele; hypopyon ulcer; conjunctival cyst; conjunctival granuloma; scleral ulcer; scleral abscess; sclerouveitis; uveal tissue prolapse; staphyloma: filtering bleb formation; secondary glaucoma; complicated cataract; exudative retinal detachment; endophthalmitis; orbital cellulitis, and bare sclera syndrome.
The causes and factors related to these complications included: too much excision of scleral and/or episcleral tissue; inappropriate cauterization; inadequate dosage of anti-mitotic eye drop; inappropriate application of beta ay irradiation; stitch reaction; superimposed trauma. D.M. and collagen disease.
Representative cases of each complication are demonstrated.
