摘要
本文報告兩例僞裝性眼窩峰窩組織炎，此二病例均主訴無痛性突眼，眼眶不見明顯紅、腫、熱、痛，血液檢查，白血球數目正常，紅血球沈降速率(ESR)稍高，此二例臨床症狀與實驗室檢查，和典型的眼窩峰窩組識炎不同，導致診斷困難，特提出討論。

Two cases of masked orbital cellulitis were reported. These two patients had received inappropriate or inadequate doses of oral antibiotics before referral. Partially treated cases of orbital cellulitis may not manifest the expected clinical finding of orbital infection. The clinical manifestations of these two cases were: acute onset of painless proptosis, mild lid swelling, no local heat. Fever was absent in these two patients. They had normal white blood cell counts. There subacute presentations in the absence of fever, pain, and normal white blood cell counts minicked the onset of orbital tumor. So we give the term of ”masked orbital cellulites”. Because the orbital cellulitis presentation may be in an insidious fashion, especially in the partially treated cases. If any suspicion of bacterial orbital cellulitis exist, we recommend that a complete course of intravenous antibiotics be instituted.
