實驗性近視之研究Ⅲ光線對眼球發育之影響

Study on Experimental Myopia Ⅲ. Light Effects on Ocular Growth

摘要


視力的發育及屈光度的變化常和生長時各種環境刺激有關,光線的強弱(照明度)及波長(色調)是影響視機能發育的重要條件。我們利用雞為實驗動物,以不同的照明度(如強光2000Lux,正常光200Lux及弱光0.2Lux)或各種不同的波長光線(如紅光、綠光、藍光及白光)等光線來研究眼球之生長與屈光度的變化。結果發現強光可造成眼軸前後徑之延長,而弱光則造成赤道部之增大。藍光則可引起眼和及赤道部之變大,但紅光及綠光則不影響。也就是不正常光線如光線的強弱及光線的色調或影像的不正常均可能影響眼球生長發育的改變。

Illumination can change the clarity of retinal image, could be an important factor in the production of myopia. As well, wavelength of the light could be another potential cause of alteration of visual input. Both are important in the development of myopia. We sought to use animal study to explore the effects of the various illuminations (excessive light, low intensity dim light, dark) and various wavelengths and hues (red, green, blue, and white) on the ocular growth. Results showed that high illumination produce axial elongation, but no effect on the equatorial size. In contrast, dim light produced the enlargement of equatorial size, but no effect on axial length. Besides, blue light induced enlargement of both axial length and equatorial size. But, neither green light nor red light had effects on any dimension of ocular growth. This finding supported the theory that anomalous visual experience during development will disrupt the emmetropization process and normal eye growth.
