It has been a worldwide trend to implement the quality assurance program for obtaining ISO 9000 series certification. In order to be able to obtain this certification and increase international competitive advantage, domestic companies must adjust their quality management strategies. This research is a pragmatic study focusing on the impact of companies' adoption of the ISO 9000 series as the quality management for competitive strategy. This research is through a questionnaire survey and analysis for 309 certified ISO 9000 companies in the list of government's publication. The results show that the internal and external environmental factors of companies' management, decision process of management strategy, and value recognition of quality strategy of management level are not significant to form the intention of companies' quality strategy.
