影響企業引進資訊科技成效之組織因素

The Effect of Organizational Factors on Information Technology Adoption

摘要


本文章主要目的在於以一個整合多層次的模型來分析探討企業在引進資訊新科技時的一些關鍵性的組織因素,透過因素分析法共整理出「組識對科技引進的態度」「組織的文化與風氣」「員工的成長及發展環境」「企業的組織結構」等三個層次共九個構面,並以路徑分析法(Path Analysis)來分析其間的直接與間接影響引進資訊科技成效的程度與方向,經由對99家企業進行調查結果發現,在九個組織因素的構面中,對企業成功引進資訊科技有最大影響力的是「對科技倡導者的支援程度」,其次分別為「科技倡導者對決策的影響力」,「企業對新科技引進的態度」「組織的風氣與文化」及「企業吸收外界科技的能力」。此外本文並分析了這些構面間直接及間接的關係,並對企業界提出一些建言。

The purpose of this study is to create an integrated research model to investigate the organizational critical factors which have impact on the effectiveness of introducing and absorption of new information technology. By using Factor Analysis technique, nine underlying demension of factors are explored, such as ”organization support for introducing new IS technique”, ”culture and climate within organization”, ”growth enviroment for employee” and ”structure of organization” etc. Path Analysis technique is used to test the direct and indirect relationships among the contextual variables and dependent factors. 99 organizations are surveyed and the results indicate that among others the ”support to champions of technological innovation” have the most significant impact on effectiveness of IS technological absorption, followed by ”champion's power”, ”organization's support for introducing new IS technology”, ”climate & culture of organization”, ”ability of organization to absorb new IS technology”. The interactions and indirect relationships among contextual factors are also analyzed and discussed. At last some suggestions to the enterprises are proposed.
