在台日系企業外包活動與外包關係類型之研究-交易成本與資源基礎觀點

A Study of Outsourcing Activities and Relationship Types with Subcontractors of Japanese-Affiliated Companies in Taiwan: The Perspectives of Transaction Cost and Resource-Based View

摘要


本研究旨在探討影響在台日系企業外包活動決定的關鍵因素,在台日系企業外包活動與外包關係類型的對應關係,以及外包關係類型決定之因素。首先藉由深度訪談6家在台日系企業,觀察其外包活動之內容與作法,藉以建立初步研究架構。隨機選取400家在台日系企業發放問卷,共計有效問卷86份,並以二元羅吉斯迴歸(Binary Logistic Regression)模式和卡方檢定進行假說之驗證。實證結果顯示:(l)外包活動之交易成本和在台系企業之資源豐富程度為在台日系企業外包策略之關鍵因素;(2)在台日系企業之外包活動與外包關係類型有顯著相關;(3)外包關係型態之選擇與交易成本之成因有顯著相關。

This research attempts to develop a conceptual framework of outsourcing decision for Japanese-affiliated companies in Taiwan (JACT) and to explore the critical factors in outsourcing activities based on Transaction Cost and Resource-Based View theories. We randomly selected 400 companies to mail questionnaires and 86 qualified ones were returned. Binary logistic regression model and Chi-sqaure test were used to test hypotheses. Empirical results indicates that: (1) both the transaction cost of the outsourcing activity and the abundancy of resources of JACT are key influencing factors for outsourcing activities, (2) A significant corresponding relationship exits between a specific outsourcing activity and the type of the outsourcing relationship, (3) the outsourcing relationship is significantly related to three dimensions of transaction cost.
