International Status of Materials Needed for Energy Transition

摘要

隨淨零碳排策略在世界各國發酵，再生能源的建設發展越受重視，尤其以風力發電、太陽能發電、電網布建、儲能系統最受矚目。然而建設中所需之原物料，特別是關鍵金屬，是否能滿足急遽上升的需求量，是諸多國際政府組織、財經資訊公司、能源及金屬礦商所關心的。本文整理國內外與能源轉型有關之關鍵金屬報告、新聞、企業網站，以了解金屬材料的供需情形、金屬材料短缺的解決方法，及金屬礦商應對淨零碳排所做的改變。

Renewable energy constructions (e.g., wind power generation, solar power generation, electrical grid deployment, and energy storage systems) are getting attention due to the worldwide net-zero carbon emission strategy. Therefore, whether the critical metals required in construction can meet the rapidly rising demand is the concern of many intergovernmental organisations, financial information companies, and mining & energy companies. This article integrates the reports, news, and corporate websites related to the critical metal of energy transition. It yields a reference to understand the demand for materials, solutions to material shortages, and changes that material or mining companies have made to respond to net-zero carbon emissions.
