摘要


核醫造影儀器之進步必須能夠增進診斷準確度、定量準確性及降低成本。為了提昇準確度必須在解像力與敏感度這兩方面著手;以矯正的方法減少物理效應造成之準確度下降,並加強進行高度技術攝影之能力(諸如:雙放射核種掃描)。為了降低成本,儀器之進步必須能縮短收集影像之時間,增加自動化之影像處理能力以及縮短判讀時間(同時提昇判讀信心)。所有這三種「時效」(收集影像、處理、判讀)都會影響臨床之流程,最後都可經由每一中心每天所能完成的掃描檢查數來作一評估。

Advances in nuclear medicine instrumentation must increase diagnostic accuracy, increase quantitative accuracy, and decrease study costs. In order to increase accuracy, advances in instrumentation must yield improved resolution and sensitivity, incorporation of appropriate corrections for physical effects that reduce accuracy, and the ability to perform technically demanding studies(such as dual-radionuclide studies).In order to decrease study costs, advances in instrumentation must yield faster acquisitions, automated processing, and shorter interpretation times(and increased interpretation confidence).All three of these ”times”(acquisition, processing, and interpretation)affect clinical throughput, which ultimately is measured by the number of patients the center is able to completely study per day.
