透地雷達在地下水調查、監測與整治之應用

摘要


透地雷達為非破壞性調查工具之一,具有高解析度、便捷、深度適合污染整治(約30公尺內)需求的優點。 透地雷達調查鄉封亦水監測方面,能迅速提供下地形、基盤深競霍地下水深度與流向,在監測井網設計時能提供有效設置位置並減少不必要監測井,提高監測功能再配合其他調查進而了解污染源可能範圍。 透地雷達調查在污染整治方面可配合岩心採樣、土壤氣體調查、土壤調查、水質分析…等,可提供污染源厚度、污染深度與分佈情形、破裂帶或斷層帶方位、污染潛在通道、污染源積聚區、管線位置與是曾漏…等等資訊,進而可作為整治井設置、油污厚度的繪製、污染土壤移除體積之計算、地下水模型建構、整治方案進行評估與整治整案是曾續或即刻停止的參考,以提高污整治效能。 本篇為作者在透地雷達調查應用於地下水監測與整治之實際經驗,有系統加以整理提供大家分享。

Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is one of the nondestructive exploration tools and has advantages of high resolution, convenient operation and applicability of groundwater remediation on appropriate depth (about 30 meters deep). As for the groundwater monitoring, GPR is capable of instantly providing the information of subsurface topography, depth of basement, depth and flow direction of groundwater. In designing the network of monitoring wells, GPR is also capable of providing the appropriate localities for the well sites, which could avoid any unnecessary wells; therefore, GPR can highly promote the function of monitoring and be further applicable on investigation of the possible region of pollution source. GPR applied in groundwater remediation can be associated with core sampling, investigation of gas contained in soil, investigation of soil as well as analysis on water, to provide the information about the thickness, depth and distribution of pollution source, the attitude of fracture or fault zones, flow path and pipe’s pollution, accumulation of pollution source, and leakage of pipe, and so on. Therefore, GPR can be further utilized in the remediation well plan, mapping of thickness of oil-contaminated layer, volumetric calculation of removed polluted soil, construction of groundwater model, evaluation on remediation plan, and the decision on the progress of remediation plan. GPR can help in increasing efficiencies of groundwater remediation. This article systematically describes the author’s practical experience of applying GPR on groundwater monitoring and remediation.
