While the renewable energy becomes popular, the technology of wind turbines is gradually getting mature. Nevertheless, the power coefficient is still low, at only 75% of the Betz limit. This article explores the possibilities of multiple extractions from wind to boost its efficiency by constructing a second set of the blades at the downwind side of the turbine. In realizing the wake of the first set of the blades may hamper its purpose, a suitable zone for the second set of the blades is provided. Another discussion is also brought up of using counter-rotating VAWTs may provide an overwhelming outcome.
