台灣中油公司林園石化廠年產乙烯72萬噸的新三輕工場,其裂解汽油中的C_5餾份和四輕的裂解汽油C_5餾份混合,每年共有120,000噸進入與台耀合資公司的五碳烴分離工場,產品有異戊二烯(Isoprene)、間戊二烯(PIP)、雙環戊二烯(DCPD)和五碳萃餘油,間戊二烯和其他單體可生產五碳的石油樹脂,年產18,913噸。另外,裂解汽油經由蒸餾製程也可產出C_9樹脂油,依Lummus設計條件,可產出C_9樹脂油17,440公噸/年~29,233公噸/年。本公司想藉由供應C_9樹脂油的原料優勢,進行和石油樹脂生產廠商技術合作,進入石油樹脂行業。而樹脂油聚合的石油樹脂呈現黃色,樹脂中未反應的烯類使其熱穩定性差,改善石油樹脂品質最佳的方式即將其加氫。加氫後石油樹脂的顏色,由黃色變成透明無色,此樹脂可用於透明的面漆或膠黏劑,價格也上升一倍左右。基於品質和價格的優勢,石油樹脂的加氫研究刻不容緩。本研究針對黃色石油樹脂進行加氫,測試觸媒的加氫特性,並建立評估加氫效果的分析方法。經研究測試結果,石油樹脂的加氫率可達95%以上,樹脂顏色可由黃色變為透明無色。研究成果應用於石油樹脂合資計劃的經濟評估,確認合資樹脂廠商所報的操作資料,反應較為合理的建廠成本。

The new No 3 naphtha cracker of Chinese Petroleum Corporation located at Lin-yuan petrochemical plant produces the pyrolysis gasoline C_5 fraction with an annual output of 720,000 tons of ethylene. Both C_5 fractions from No.3 plant and No.4 plant are mixed as a feed of 120,000 tons/year to TAMC's five-carbon separation plant. Products from this plant are isoprene (Isoprene), piperylene (PIP), dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) and C_5 raffinate oil. Piperylene and other monomers are used to produce five-carbon petroleum resin about 18,913 tons/year. In addition, pyrolysis gasoline by distillation process also can produce C_9 resin oil based on the design conditions Lummus. The design can produce 17,440 ~29,233 tons / year. Chinese Petroleum Corporation is looking for technical cooperation in order to enter petroleum resin industry as a raw material supplier. This yellow petroleum resin shows poor thermal stability due to the unreacted olefin of it. The best way to improve the quality of petroleum resin is hydrogenation. Hydrogenated petroleum resin is colorless and the resin can be used for transparent top coat or adhesives. Their price are about twice than that of petroleum resin. With good quality and better price, hydrogenated petroleum resin research is important. This study is subjected to hydrogenate yellow petroleum resins to study hydrogenated catalyst characteristics, and is to establish analysis method to evaluate the effect of the hydrogenation. The conversion of hydrogenation petroleum resin reach up to 95% and the resin color can be turned from yellow into colorless. Research results can be applied to the economic assessment of petroleum resin joint venture so as to acknowledge joint resin manufacturers reported information, more reasonable cost plant construction.
