網路地圖的特性及其在地理教學中之應用

網路科技之發展，給地圖製作與使用帶來新的環境與方式，網路地圖(Web map)即應運而生。由於網路地圖是以網路環境爲其資訊擷取與傳輸的管道，因此有關其設計與使用，均受網路環境特性與品質之制約。本文旨在探討網路地圖之特性與內涵，以及在網路環境下有關網路地圖配合地理教學方式之應用，文中並對未來之可能發展趨勢加以討論。

The development of Internet has produced the new scope and style of map production and map use .Web map is the by-product of the Internet development. The retrieval and conveyance of web maps are based on the Internet, therefore web map's design and use are under the control of Internet. The aim of this article is to study the characteristic and essence of web maps, and its use with geographic education that under the Internet circumstance. The future trends of the development of web map are also discussed.
