台灣地區國中與高中學生閱讀衛星影像之能力探究

The Students' Ability Enquiry of Reading Satellite Image in Taiwan Junior High School and Senior High School

摘要


本研究主要探討衛星影像引入國中與高中學校教學前後,學生閱讀衛星影像能力之差異,進而分析影響學生閱讀衛星影像能力的因素。研究過程包括問卷、教學、評量與訪談四部分,實驗課程為區域地理中的東南亞與中國的都市,實驗資料包括教學地區以及台灣的都市影像。實驗樣本為三所學校8年級(國中二年級)與10年級(高中二年級)的學生,這些學生被分為兩組,一組使用衛星影像與照片,另一組僅使用照片。測試結果發現8年級與10年級學生閱讀衛星影像的能力有明顯差距,但此差距又受性別、班級特質與學校設備等因素影響,且多數學生對台北與高雄兩地的影像較熟悉,而其他地區的影像較陌生。

The research purpose was to enquire of students' reading satellite image ability and analysis affects factors. The research process included questionnaire, teaching, evaluation and interview. The curriculum of experiment was the regional geography which introduced about the city of China and Southeast Asia. The experimental materials were general teaching material and satellite images which included teaching area and the city of Taiwan. The sampling students who belonged to three school's eighth grade and tenth grade were divided to two groups, which one was taught with satellite image and photograph, another one was taught only with photograph. The result discovered the different grade student's ability of reading satellite image had more disparate than different experimental group, and this disparity was influenced by sex, class, equipment and so on. Another specially, almost of student was familiar with the images about Taipei and Kaohsiung than other city.
