我國圖書資訊學門研究人力及學術成果探析

摘要

研究是每一個學科發展其理論的基礎，研究者所從事的研究主題、研究方法反映在其所發表的論著上，若能從專業文獻所發展的主題、數量等方面予以分析，將可深入瞭解某一個學科領域的研究現況及發展趨勢。而不斷地對圖書資訊學研究結果進行分析，將有助於自我檢視、分辨未來的需求和培育新的技術。本研究之目的在分析民國59年至95年間圖書資訊學相關之研究人力和學術成果，分別就研究人力、博碩士論文、研究計畫，以及期刊文獻和專書等方面做探討。藉由系統化方法所得的研究結果發現，臺灣地區圖書資訊學專書逾1,534種、研究計畫達550篇以上、學位論文計有824篇，期刊論文約為10,354篇。此外，本研究並分析圖書資訊學相關之研究計畫經費與作者分佈、圖書資訊學博碩士論文研究方法、論文中所關注之圖書館類型，期望能對圖書資訊學的過去、現在和未來研究走向的瞭解有所貢獻。最後提出建議，供相關單位採擇實施。

To contribute to the understanding of the status and trends of development of the literature on library and information science in Taiwan, this study analyzes monographs, theses, research projects, and journal articles of this field published in Taiwan from 1970 to 2006. The findings show that there were more than 1,534 books published, 550 research projects conducted, 824 theses completed, and more than 10,354 journal articles published during this period. Issues related to the studied materials, including authorship, research budgets, research methodology of theses, and types of libraries concerned, are brought into analyses to reveal the past, the present, and the future research orientation of library and information science. In the conclusion, suggestions will be proposed for further consideration.
