摘要

甲狀腺風暴非常罕見，不僅診斷不易，而且病患常有很高的死亡率，特別是病患以神經系統病變來表現時，更增加診斷的困難度。我們報告一年輕男性病志，因甲狀腺風暴引發頭痛、燒、全身性痙攣、意識不清至急診求治，住院後病患併發半昏迷、肌肉病變等多樣化急性甲狀腺神經系統病變，經抗甲狀腺藥物、類固醇、乙型阻斷劑、高量碘等藥物治療成功的例子，並作相關文獻的回顧。

Thyroid storm is difficult to diagnosis and associated with high mortality. Especially, the patient presented with neurological manifestation. This report describes a case of thyroid storm who developed multiple life-threatening neurological complications like tonic-clonic seizure, semicoma and myopathy. After medical treatment, the patient eventually recovered completely without residual damage. We present this case and also review the literature concerning this disease.
