中華文化的策略觀點

The Classical Chinese Perspective of Strategy

摘要


本文的研究目的在於為蘊藏豐富策略思想的中華文化建立可操作化策略架構。本研究以對重要典籍文獻的回顧、探索、領略作為研究方法,並且發現,「陰陽相生,互為其根」的相生觀點實為中華文化的核心策略觀點。根據相生觀點的太極意象,本文提出策略本體論述:一個策略即是一個太極。並導出具有可操作性的策略邏輯:任何一個策略皆可描述為一個動態性的策略環圖。策略環圖是本研究所創立的架構,含豐富管理意涵,具自足互補、首尾呼應、共向一心等概念,擁有形、勢、時、量等觀察策略的角度,是建構策略、評估策略、測量策略的有力工具。為驗證策略環圖的邏輯,本文成功地將Porter為美國西南航空公司所建構的策略活動系統重組成為一個策略環圖。

This article aims to establish an operational framework for the strategic philosophy of the classical Chinese culture, which is itself rich in strategic thinking. The article conducts its research by way of reviewing, investigating, and comprehending the essential Chinese classics, and finds that the core strategic perspective of the classical Chinese culture lies in the mutual-promotion perspective: yin and yang are mutually promoted and reciprocally rooted. Based on the perspective, this article puts forth a Tai Chi based ontological statement on strategy: Any strategy is, by its very nature, a Tai Chi. And, this ontological statement goes further to develop into an operational strategic logic: Any strategy can be represented as a strategic loop, which is essentially dynamic. Strategic loop, a framework created by this research, is itself rich in managerial meanings. It possesses three conceptions: self-sufficiency and complementarity, self-echoing, and centripetalism. Furthermore, strategic loop is instrumental in perceiving strategy from distinct angles: strategic shape-up, strategic power, strategic time, and strategic measure. As a result, strategic loop can be a very powerful tool to conceive strategy, evaluate strategy, and measure strategy. In verifing the strategic logic behind the framework, the article is able to redraft Porter's strategic activities system on the Southwest Airline into a strategic loop.
