The early Qing Government edited History of Ming (Ming Shi) mainly depended on the Veritable Records of Ming (Ming Shi-lu). During the collection, transcript of Ming Shi-lu, they translated Ming Shi-lu and Ming Shi into Manchu texts. These Manchu versions was the key link of editing Ming Shi, and can not be ignored when studying Ming, Qing history, but until now people pay few attention to them. The Manchu version manuscript of Ming Shi-lu still exit in the Imperial Cabinet Archives of Institute of History and Philology, Academia Sinica, and National Library of China. The Manchu version of Ming Shi exit in the Palace Museum Library in Beijing. This paper based on the Translation and Commentary of the Manchu version manuscript of Ming Shi-lu of Taizong, Xuanzong, besides analyzes the characters of texts, discusses some related issues.
