This article tries to touch the inside heart of the Taiwanese writer Wang Chang-Xiong by making an analysis of his literary works. Wang Chang-Xiong as a Japanified Taiwanese, Mr. Kawahara wants to know that how did he aware of the self. Through having an insight into three works of Wang Chang-Xiong, including ”The wimple of Damshui River”, ”The mirror”, and ”The flow”, 'The Literary World of Wang Chang-Xiong' written by Mr. Kawahara tries to realize the distress of the local Taiwanese who were well Japanfied during the Japanese era of Taiwanese History. The key point is how the local Taiwanese can keep the identity of themselves and Japanese soul both.
